FUNCTION and INDICATIONS
It is used for chronic hepatitis B liver fibrosis, and early cirrhosis of the liver due to blood stasis blocking the collaterals, deficiency of qi and blood and insufficient heat toxin. Symptoms: dull pain in the flanks or lump under the ribs, dull complexion, full abdominal distension, poor appetite, loose stools, fatigue, dry mouth, bitter mouth, red thread, etc.

Softening hardness to dissipate stagnation,removing blood stasis and detoxification, reinforcing qi and nourishing blood.

INGREDIENTS
Turtle Shell(Prepared), Zedoary Rhizome, Red Peony Root, Chinese Angelica Root, Notoginseng Root, Tangshen Root, Milkvetch Root, Dried Human placenta, Chinese Caterpillar Fungus, Isatis Root, Weeping Forsythia Capsule.

This product is brown to tan flakes; taste slightly bitter.

USAGE AND DOSAGE

Pharmacology and Toxicology
1.Pharmacological effects: The experimental results of animal liver fibrosis model treatment show that it has a significant blocking effect on the early stage of liver fibrosis, and inhibits the proliferation of fat storage cells, reduces collagen synthesis, and reduces excessive deposition and dissolution of collagen in the Disse cavity. And absorb the formed liver fibrosis, and also effectively inhibit the expression of liver fibrosis α2(I) mRNA. Experiments also show that it can improve the phagocytic function of mouse peritoneal macrophages.
2.Toxicological study: Acute toxicity test, the mice were given the maximum tolerated dose twice a day by intragastric administration. No acute toxicity reaction was observed in the mice. In the long-term toxicity test, rats were gavage for 6 months without obvious toxicity and adverse reactions.
