Taiwan Long Feng Xia High Mountain Black Tea

This high mountain black tea is from Long Feng Xia area of the Shan Lin Xi region in Taiwan.  At an altitude of above 1700 meters, this region is known for its extraordinary growing conditions; with low temperature, short daylight, and covered in fog year-round. 

The Long Feng Xia black tea is known for its rich aroma, which is often described as being floral and fruity, with hints of honey and nuttiness. The flavor is deep and full-bodied, with a balanced sweetness and a delicate smokiness that lingers in the mouth. 

The tea harvested in summer which gives it's taste a clean and bright, with notes of caramel and stone fruit. This is a complex tea, with many layers of flavor and aroma that can be enjoyed over multiple steeps.
